2012 Iowa Republican Caucus

With less than a week before the Iowa Caucus, each and evey poll will give better insight into who could come out on top. The key person to watch is Rick Santorum. He's put the most hours into Iowa, and he's not Romney or Paul. One important factor is that the party will do everything possible to prevent Paul from winning because, in their eyes, that would be an embarassment. Some will also try to secure a Romney defeat for fears that he isn't conservative enough. One way to get both scenarios is for Perry supportes and Bachmann supporters to switch over to Santorum on election day. A few months back there were rumblings of key Iowa conservatives getting together and planning on whom of the conservative candidates to rally around to defeat Romney. Perhaps that plan is still intact and could serve to defeat both Ron Paul and Mitt Romney.

Socialism Disguised as Liberalism

This coming election will be the most important in modern history. It will be a "time for choosing" between the free market system which has propelled the United States to becoming the most prosperous nation on earth, or socialism in the disguise of liberalism, which has historically destroyed empires and enslaved citizens in the name of equality. If Barack Obama is re-elected, then the liberals will have an advantage in their fight for an unrealistic Utopian society, and will most certainly further entrench the United States in socialistic enslavement's.The following video paints a grim picture of what the socialist (liberal) desires to do, and how they will accomplish their goals. They will never present things as they are, but will instead disguise them so as to fool the majority. America will never accept socialized medicine, or socialism in general, as it is...but cloak it in the name of equal and fair treatment for all, and we are fooled. Wake up America!

9% Rate Economy As Good or Excellent

According to a new Rasmussen Reports poll, 9% of Americans rate the current economic situation as good or excellent. Personally, i'm surprised so many see the current situation as favorable with how high unemployment is (roughly 9%, when those who have simply stopped looking for a job are included it is roughly 17%-20%) and with how the economy has been growing at historically low levels for the past 3 years. Makes one wonder what they're seeing. Nonetheless, this is clearly a bad sign for President Obama. If unemployment gets anywhere near the 10% mark, his chances of securing re-election are nonexistent.

Great Ad From the Ron Paul Camp

It will be interesting to see how Newt Gingrich responds to the attacks his fellow Republicans have sent his way in recent days. Polls show him sliding...he'll need to really ramp up his organization in the early states of Iowa and New Hampshire and increase the amount of money he's raising if he plans on continuing his role as a force in this race. He can't afford to wait until South Carolina to become relevant. In 2008 Rudy Giuliani attempted a similar tactic when he opted to spend the majority of his time and efforts in Florida, thus ignoring the early key states of Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina, Nevada, and Michigan...By the time Florida arrived he had no momentum and no money. Gingrich, being the historian he is, should realize this fatal tactic and correct course immediately.
